This page gives you information to guide you through the theory component for the unit TLIC4006 - Drive Multi Combination Vehicle.
Important Information
- As a minimum we suggest you to dedicate 4 hours study prior to completing your theory assessment
- The theory assessment is closed book and will be undertaken under the supervision of Shift staff
- You must not refer to your phone or any other resource during the assessment
- On your theory day you will have a 2 hour refresher session followed by the closed book assessment (2 1/2 hours)
- If you are unable to complete the theory assessment competently you will be required to attend another day to complete
- Your theory assessment may be marked the same day or on another day - depending on availability of assessors
- You must study prior to coming in for your assessment - if you have not completed your study please contact the office

When you have completed your study and the practice questions and feel that you are ready for the assessment please phone and make a booking. There will be a two hour refresher session prior to the closed book assessment so you will have plenty of time to ask questions and clarify any information.
You will have up to 2 1/2 hours to complete the assessment. If you do not complete your theory assessment in the allocated time frame, or you require more time to study, no hassles - just come back another time at no additional cost.
Please note: That TMR accepts the current industry standard for delivery of TLIC4006 Drive MC Vehicle to a class HR driver licence holder as being at least 2 days (up to 16 hours) training and assessment with a minimum 2 hours on-road final competency assessment.
Theory assessment must be completed and student must be deemed competent prior to undertaking the practical training and assessment.
